In the quiet depths of my childhood imagination, a dream was born - a dream to honour the legacy of the Royal family of Iran through art. In 2013, that dream manifested into reality as I painstakingly crafted bronze sculptures of the Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi’s Hands and Her signature (Farah), late King, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi’s pair of shoes on an embroidered velvet and gold Imperial Coat of arms cushion base as well as his imperial signature and Crown Prince Hands to convey his unconditional love and admiration for freedom for Iran. my own hands, capturing their essence, grace, and majesty for eternity. Each stroke of the sculptor's tool was infused with reverence and admiration for the noble figures who have shaped the history and culture of Iran. The Queen's regal presence, the late King's strength and wisdom, and the Crown Prince's promise of the future are etched in every curve and line of these sculptures, a testament to their enduring legacy. These artworks are more than mere representations - they are a heartfelt tribute to the Royal family, a labour of love that spans decades of devotion and admiration. As I hold in my hands the castings of their own hands and a pair of the King's shoes, I am reminded of the power of art to preserve history, evoke emotion, and honour those who have left an indelible mark on our world. May these sculptures stand as a beacon of inspiration and remembrance, inviting viewers to connect with the rich heritage and cultural significance of the Iranian royal family. In their presence, may we reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and embrace the future with the same grace, dignity, and resilience that define this noble lineage."
